Strength Training London
Intelligent, evidence-based strength training in London with a dedicated strength coach.
Personalised 1-to-1 coaching designed to help you build strength that supports better health, posture, resilience and performance — for the long term.
Not bodybuilding. Not intensity for its own sake. Just thoughtful, progressive strength training, built around you.

Why it matters
Strength is the foundation almost every other aspect of fitness sits on top of — better posture, easier movement, more energy, fewer injuries and a body that feels capable rather than fragile.
It supports long-term health in ways very few things do: bone density, joint resilience, metabolic health, balance and the ability to keep doing what you love as you get older.
And it changes how you feel day to day — not just in the gym, but in your work, your family life and the way you carry yourself.
Done well, strength training isn't a phase. It's a lifelong practice.
Methodology
A calm, intelligent approach to building strength that lasts — grounded in good technique, progressive overload and respect for the long game.
Built around four core principles.
Every programme starts with how you move. Cleaner technique unlocks more strength, fewer injuries and far greater long-term progress than chasing heavier numbers ever will.
Strength is built by doing slightly more, slightly better, over time. We'll progress your training intelligently — adjusting load, volume and intensity in line with how your body is adapting.
We focus on the movements that transfer most to real life — squats, hinges, presses, pulls and carries. Strength that supports your body in everything you do, not just in the gym.
Sustainable strength is the priority. Sessions are demanding but never punishing, structured so you can train consistently for years — not weeks.
What's included
Every strength programme is personal. No templates, no copied plans — just a considered approach to building strength that fits your goals, lifestyle and starting point.
A fully bespoke training plan based on your goals, experience and schedule — reviewed and adjusted as you progress.
Hands-on coaching focused on technique, intent and quality of movement. Every rep has a reason.
Ongoing work on the foundational lifts and movement patterns that make everything else stronger.
Clear, simple measures of progress — strength, technique, energy and how you feel — reviewed regularly.
Practical guidance on sleep, nutrition and recovery — the inputs that determine how well your body adapts.
Direct access between sessions for questions, check-ins and adjustments. Coaching beyond the gym floor.
Who it's for
Strength training is for people who want to feel stronger, move better and invest in their long-term health — at any age and any starting point.
Demanding careers, limited time. Strength training is the highest-return investment you can make in your body for the time spent.
Strength to carry, lift, play and keep up. Coaching that fits around family life rather than competing with it.
You've built some confidence in the gym and want to take training more seriously. Strength is the natural next step.
Strength is one of the most important predictors of how well you age. Now is always the right time to start building it.
Start here
Every strength journey starts with a relaxed, no-obligation conversation about what you'd like to achieve and how best to get there.
During the consultation we'll discuss:
Your strength goals
Training history and experience
Lifestyle and schedule
Injuries or health considerations
What's worked and what hasn't
How you'd like to feel and perform
The coaching options best suited to you
Next steps if you decide to continue
You'll leave with a clear sense of what a personalised strength programme would look like for you — and zero pressure to commit.
Limited availability each month.
Your first session
Your first session is a structured introduction — not a test. We'll walk through the foundational movements together, look at how you move and use the time to set a clear baseline.
Expect calm coaching, clear explanations and a focus on quality over load. Whatever your starting point, you'll leave with a real understanding of how your strength training is going to develop from here.

Progress
Strength progress is one of the most rewarding things to track because it's tangible — but the most meaningful signs of progress aren't always the numbers on the bar.
Gradual, sustainable increases in the load you can move with great technique across the key lifts.
Cleaner, more controlled movement — the foundation of every long-term strength outcome.
How you stand, sit and move through everyday life. Better strength almost always means better posture.
More energy across your day, easier recovery and a body that feels capable rather than tired.
Confidence in your body, in the gym and in your ability to keep progressing — for years, not weeks.
Building a training week that fits realistically into your life. Consistency is the engine behind every result.

About your coach
Hi, I'm Vish — founder of On Form LDN and a Level 3 Personal Trainer based in North London.
Strength training is at the heart of how I coach. Not because it makes people bigger, but because it makes them more capable — at work, at home and in their bodies — for the long term.
My approach is calm, intelligent and evidence-based. We'll never rush, we'll never train for the sake of intensity, and we'll build something that fits realistically into your life.
If you're newer to training, my Beginner Personal Training programme is a natural starting point. If body composition is a priority, explore Weight Loss Coaching. And if you'd rather train remotely with the same structure, my Online Coaching programme delivers personalised strength programming wherever you are.
I coach clients across King's Cross, Islington, Marylebone and the wider North and Central London area — in person and online.
Frequently asked questions
A few of the questions I'm asked most often about strength training. If there's anything else you'd like to know, please get in touch.
No. Strength training is for everyone, regardless of starting point. We'll begin with the fundamentals and build progressively from there.
No. Strength training builds lean, functional strength. Visible muscle change requires years of focused work and very specific nutrition — for most clients, the result is feeling stronger, leaner and more capable in everyday life.
When coached properly, strength training is one of the safest and most beneficial forms of exercise — recommended at every stage of life for long-term health, bone density and joint resilience.
Two to three quality sessions per week is enough to see meaningful progress for most people. We'll agree on a frequency that fits sustainably into your week.
We'll discuss any injuries or medical considerations during your consultation and adapt your programme accordingly. Strength training is often one of the most effective tools for managing and resolving long-standing issues.
In person across King's Cross, Islington, Marylebone and the wider North and Central London area. Online coaching is also available.
No. If you're completely new to training, my Beginner Personal Training programme is a natural starting point and runs alongside this work.
Most clients feel stronger and more confident within the first few weeks. Visible and measurable changes typically follow over the first two to three months of consistent training.
